We are making progress in our renovations of this coastal cottage near Cladding the new extension in tin….lining the interior in roughsawn larch from local forest

Conserving an historic thatch

Our current project near has two decaying thatched outbuildings. The original scraw roofs survive….we want to conserve them under tin as they’re rare survivors. This week we’re creating the frameworks for those tin cap roofs.
